Saphire Jade began to bask in the glow of life and love. She had reconnected with her grandparents and several members of her family. It was a delightful experience. She was moving in with Grace, she was spending time her family and Time was everything and more Jade ever imagined a man to be. He was her rock. He was her lover. No man had ever done the things he had done to her.
They had escapades at his studio and even the recording booth. When he moved the studio and bought a bigger building he was even closer to Saphire. She was cool with his goons and they thought she was hot shit. They wanted to fuck her but they respected her they knew Time would flip shit if they even blinked at her wrong. She felt loved and protected. He would ravish her bodly like a hungry wolf and she would scratch after scratch upon his flesh as if she was part lion, part tiger. He was her honey bear and oh me oh my, they love making was sinfully delicous. He was her sexual buffet and she was his empress. He was her knight in shining armor. He had rescued her from a lifetime of pain and suffering and had rode her off to a land of love, peace and serenity. He longed to take care of her and cater to her every whim and fancy. Saphire Jade had the heat to melt away his coldness. He was so tough and such a hard ass when they first met, but Jade was sweet like pure sugar or a river of chocolate. She showered him with love that he had never known and he swore he would bless with riches, marriages, children and a home with the future she desereved.
But as fate would have it, Time turned out to be a saint and a sinner. He loved Saphire Jade like no other and she accepted him for he was. She promised to stay away from men with kids but decided Time was man enough for her break her rule. He loved her dearly and treated her like man ever had. He provided her a love and support that some seek a whole life and still never find. He shared her belief in God and her passion for prayer. He had a free spirit and killer sense of humor. Once Jade found her voice, she realized she too, was kinda funny, so they laughed endlessly. He was silly and she was just down right goofy. The two were damn near inseperable. Although victims of time and space, they saw eachother as often as possible. They spent their days chatting away until Saphire Jade began to notice a pattern. After Time got home from work, their conversations died. She didn't want to believe the worste, but something in her gut kept telling her. So when she found out that Time was living with the mother of his son, the earth only moved but so much. The shift was more so in her heart than in the universe.
As the rain fell, she cried and cursed him with no pity or patience. Just anger and passion. She was furious, outraged and in the cold december night, she began to feel her temperature rise. Saphire Jade began to feel her heart harden and her stomach tighten. She felt her face turn red and her chocolate eyes went black as the evening sky. Saphire Jade asked him once, twice, and then a third and final time if he had told her everything? If he had been honest with her? His reply was that of any man's so sure and confident, so full of himself. As the rain poured and the tears fell she called him what she will forever know him as and that is a liar. She told him how he was the last man she ever believed in and begged for an explanation. The whole year he had been chasing her the whole time he had perpetrated himself as a single man and the whole time he had been living with the mother of his child.
Sad as it was, Saphire Jade threw all of his cd's out the window and raced home to Grace. Saphire had not but a care for Grace's sleep but needed her friend like she did that night she lay on a cold bathroom floor at 16. She felt dead inside and Time had killed her. Time had broken her heart into a million pieces and at 3, 4, 5 o' clock in the morning...Jade cried and screamed and cried and screamed. Wailed like a haeina into Grace's lap. She asked God why, she cried to Grace why. She cried with no regards for the neighbors or children whom she may wake. She cried and screamed and wailed endlessly. Heaved out of shortness of breath and sweated out her hair. Saphire Jade finally cried herself into a senseless sleep and awoke the next day, hungover and puffy. Eyes swollen practically shut and body soaked in sweat. She was limp and still dead from the tragedy she endured the evening before. How could the only one who ever loved her like that, lie to her so? She thought about Jonathan. She wanted to blame him bc if he loved her like she tried to love him then she never would've gotten her feelings hurt by Time. Life is funny like that. The ones you want either never want you back or hurt you in the end. Love is a tragedy and Saphire was left on stage alone and in the dark. The curtains had fallen on her and Time and she was left to take the final bow.
But a stubborn fool for love that Saphire Jade. She phoned Time not long after waking. He had become her life line. She had come to depend on his light and his love. How would she fill her days if not with the sound of his voice? How would she be encouraged if he was not there to uplift her? How would find strength in herself if he was not there to instill in her all the truth and goodness she needed to nourish and prosper. She phoned him and tried to pretend like nothing happened.
Her whole axis had been disrutped by the last man she trusted. It was heart breaking, gut wrenching, and she swore the tears wouldn't stop falling. In the days that followed it rained non stop and just when she thought she'd died a thousand deaths, Time had to stick the final nail in the coffin. Not only was he living with Ariel, he was married to her as well.
Time was married and living with his wife Ariel. Time was married and living with his wife Ariel. Time was married and living with his wife Ariel. The mother of his child, Dorien. Jade knew about Dorien and she knew that Dorien's mother was alive and well. What Saphire Jade didn't know is the reason she couldn't come to Time's house is because he was married to his wife Ariel that mothered his first child Dorien.
Ya know, it's hard for a woman to love a man who has already fathered his first child. She already knows that the child will always come before her and that the baby's mother will as well. For their needs will be met before any one elses. She knows that the baby's mothers and the child take precedent at all times. He may have to watch the baby or the mother may need money. At any given moment she is cast aside and is of lesser importance. Her pride is challenged because she has to determine if runner up is good enough. Time apparently had made this decision for Jade by not being honest with her. She believed in Time, she respected Time. She told Time her secrets and she trusted him not to judge her. He didn't abuse her, didn't give her an STD, didn't talk bad about her past or her parents...and yet he'd manage to break them, break her.
Saphire Jade, dropped her cell phone and her vision went blurry. Her heart began to race and her hands began to shiver. Her whole body went into a burning numbness and her flesh was flaming to the touch. She turned red and the chocolated pools that were here eyes went from storm to a cloudy grayish black. Like that of a marble. She was deaf to all sounds except this insatiable ringing in her ears. Her lips quivered and her entire being trembled. She couldn't believe this was happening. The phone landed against the carpet in movie like slow motion.
Time was married and living with his wife Ariel who mothered his first born son, his first born child, Dorien. Time was married and living with his wife Ariel.
